GIF Generator

Online GIF maker

Our online GIF creator creates animated GIFs by integrating individual image files as frames. The GIFs generated are of great quality and devoid of watermarks and credit, making this tool perfect for developers and content makers.

You can create a GIF by uploading a sequence of GIF, JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, HEIC, AVIF, and other image kinds, a ZIP archive containing photos, or even a mix of formats and sizes; they will be transformed automatically. You can also upload animated GIF, WebP, or APNG images, which will be split and their delay durations kept. This way, the GIF maker can be used to alter, shorten, or merge existing GIFs. The maximum resolution is 1920x1920 pixels. Images greater than 1920x1920 pixels will be automatically scaled during submission.

How to Create a GIF?

Click the "Choose Files" button above to select the photographs you want to use as frames.

To select several files, press and hold the Ctrl/Command key.

When the photographs are uploaded, you can change the animation speed and frame order before creating the GIF.

After creating the GIF, you can resize, trim, and optimize it with any of the tools we give.

Tips for GIF Creation:

• You can modify the pace of the entire GIF by entering a "Delay time" at the bottom, or you can adjust the delay for individual frames using the "Delay" input box next to each frame.
• The delay time is measured in hundredths (1/100) of a second between frames; a higher value makes the animation appear slower.
• It is not recommended to select a delay duration of less than 2, as some browsers will ignore such values and default to lesser animation speeds.
• By default, all frames are organized alphabetically by filename (and will retain their original order if you upload an existing animation). Still, you can rearrange them by dragging and dropping them inside the GIF animator area.
• Enable the "Crossfade frames" option to produce a seamless, fading transition between images. Ideal for producing photo slideshows. Greater "Frame count" and shorter "Fader delay" parameters produce smoother animation. Still, they considerably increase file size since the GIF generator must generate more new frames between each of the original frames. Play with those values to find the right balance for your needs.
• If you upload photographs of varying sizes, two more options will appear: automatically scale and crop them all to meet the smallest dimensions or select an alignment (e.g., top-left or center). You can also manually specify top and left coordinates in pixels for each frame.
• If you wish to make GIF images from a video, try Video to GIF instead.
• To create a GIF from a sprite sheet, use the sprite cutter tool.
